Cursos, congresos y conferencias. Lista de Prehistoria

Dear Colleague,

In 2012, the renowned British researcher Lady Jane Renfrew donated a considerable part of her private library to the Archæological Unit and to the Library of the Botanical Garden of the Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) in Vila Real, in the north of Portugal. As an acknowledgement and as a way to thank her, a prehistoric garden—with plants eaten and used by our ancestors in a distant past—is being created on the campus of UTAD. On the occasion of its inauguration, you are cordially invited to the  “First Meeting of Palæoenviroment and Ethnobotany”. All those who are interested in these themes, as well as, in Palaeoclimate, Palaeobotany and Palinology are welcomed to present papers and posters.

The proposed programme will include:
- Talks by invited guests from Europe and Brazil
- Thematic round-tables
- Papers and posters
- Documentaries
- Book Fair
